It's a unit within a whole, not a defining moment for the one who submits to it, but can be interpreted as something else: for some can show weakness, for the warrior is a moment of strength, it's a call for order, freedom, a test to our core, of understanding of what we are built of. So, we can become certain, gain serenity, align ourselves with our true self and value.
